What is "Namaste"?
dearimportantperson: Loosely translated, “namaste” means “the spirit in me recognizes spirit in you.” It is, beyond its use as a greeting, an acknowledgement of oneness. littlecitywitch: witchyways: loveoflopt: aviewintoyourworld: Today, I was at my grandmother’s house for dinner. Before dinner, I was playing with my baby cousin, when i heard my grandmother telling my mother about how she was at the clinic today, when she saw a child brought in screaming. It turned out that the child had scalded himself or herself with… Dad calls it “banshees wailing”....

The End of Feminism (As I Knew It) →
Amazing article talking about some of the Feminists of today, the attitudes of everyone, and really, equality = equality in the end. Not oppression of one or the other.

Mayan Elders speak out about the 2012 Prophecy →
witchyways: quelola: frau-green-eyes: kahs2012: “Anthropologists visit the temple sites and read the inscriptions and make up stories about the Maya, but they do not read the signs correctly. It’s just their imagination. Other people write about prophecy in the name of the Maya. They say that the world will end in December 2012. The Mayan elders are angry with this. The world will ...
